What a challenge! Physically as well as psychologically one of the highlights of my career
Mid February I went to los Angeles for almost 3 weeks. For 2 weeks I attended several courses on the topic „Public Speaking“ at the famous Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute. It is the best-known drama school in the world, where people like Christoph Walz and Benno Fürmann were taught their trade and also Julia Roberts, Mickey Rourke, Scarlett Johansson and Angelina Jolie, just to name a few.
Parallel to the exhausting, but very valuable and inspiring training, I had 3 interviews. 2 at iHeart Radio and one at LA Radio where I could talk live about the Kerstin Hardt-Method.
The biggest challenge though was „Speaker Slam“ in Beverly Hills. A 10 minute speech in English and then to be judged by the 7 most successful speakers of America: Greg Reid, Steve Jennings, Berny Dohrman, Gene McNaughton, Mark Anthony Bates, Eric Swanson, Brian Smith. You grow with your tasks. :o)
Photographers, red carpet, a camera team and 200 visitors rounded up the event. Very exciting! An experience I won´t forget any time soon.
Finally, the Oscars! 100 meters from the Mega Stars I was breathing Oscar air and walking across the red carpet. At the Oscar dinner I sat next to the stars of the series Dallas and Fast and Furious.
An amazing experience I wouldn´t have wanted to miss for anything.
